CHEMICAL TRANSFER HOSE – COMPOTEC CHEM is a multi-layer composite hose manufactured from Polypropylene, Polyethylene and Polyester films and fabrics, with a weather-proof and abrasion resistant outer cover made of Polyvinyl chloride fabric. The different layers are precisely overlapped on each other with predefined angles and, subsequently, compressed between two spirals, one internal and one external, both made of galvanised steel or stainless steel.
The engineering gives to CHEMICAL TRANSFER HOSE – COMPOTEC CHEM hoses lightness, flexibility and the ability to operate at certain pressures and temperatures, that fully satisfy the requirements of the Chemical and Petro-chemical Industry, and related transports, either by trucks or by railway tanks.

FEATURES & APPLICATIONS: Extremely flexible and easy to handle, the CHEMICAL TRANSFER HOSE – COMPOTEC CHEM hose is generally used for the transfer of chemicals, under pressure and suction.
It is also frequently used for the transfer from tank trucks, rail trucks, loading or unloading of ships and on pumps and process machineries. It is ideal for the transfer of solvents in all process plants and chemical industries. All the hoses are 100% resistant to aromatics, and can be used both for suction or delivery. Vacuum rating is 0.9 bar, according to the EN ISO 7233 standard.

CHEM 700 HD – HEAVY DUTY
Applications: Heavy Duty construction, for the transfer of a wide range of chemical products under suction or positive pressure. Commonly used for Ship to Shore or Ship to Ship transfer, Road and Rail Tanker loading or unloading and in general, for the most arduous Industrial and Marine applications.

Construction: Black PP coated inner wire, High strength polypropylene films and fabrics, Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW PE) reinforcements, and abrasion resistant cover, galvanised steel double construction. Optional stainless steel inner and outer wire, or on request, ELASTAR special PU cover, resistant to abrasion and to weather, ozone, high temperatures and aggressive chemicals. Available in 40 mt coils from 3/4” to 8”, 25 mt length up to 12” and 12 mt up to 16”.

CHEM SD – STANDARD DUTY
Applications: Flexible hose for standard duties; suitable for the safe transfer of a wide variety of chemicals under suction or pressure. Commonly used for loading and unloading of road and rail tankers, storage tanks and in-plant applications.
