FOOD GRADE RUBBER HOSE – MTG STEAM
- Widely used in the food, pharmaceutical, beverage, and brewery industries, especially for the transfer of hot water and steam in CIP, SIP, and sterilization processes within production plants.
- The inner liner, specifically designed for conveying hot water and steam (up to +164°C), allows safe cleaning and disinfection processes.
- The cover provides good heat resistance and withstands short contact with animal and vegetable fats.
Construcion:
- TUBE : EPDM rubber FDA , light colour, mirror-smooth.
- REINFORCEMENT : Plies of synthetic cord.
- COVER : EPDM rubber, blue colour, smooth, abrasion and weather resistant, cloth finish.
Safety factors:
- Working pressure at +95°C: 20 bar; Safety factor ≥ 3.
- Working pressure at +164°C: 6 bar; Safety factor ≥ 10.
Temperatures: From -40° to +164°C.
APPLICATION
- Commonly used in dairy plants, ice cream factories, and food processing facilities, ensuring hygiene and safety during hot water and steam cleaning operations.
- Suitable for conveying saturated steam in intermittent (non-continuous) service.
- Designed for delivery lines.
