FOOD TRANSFER HOSE – COMPOTEC FOOD 500 is a composite hose manufactured with thermoplastic films and fabrics of Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW PE), Polypropylene and Polyester, with an external covering in Food grade PU, resistant to atmospheric and abrasion. The outer cover is also available with UHMW PE coating, which resists to food industry’s specific washing chemical agents.

All the different layers are precisely overlapped on each other with predefined angles, and subsequently compressed between two spirals, one internal, one external, in stainless steel AISI316L. This engineering gives to FOOD TRANSFER HOSE – COMPOTEC FOOD 500 hoses lightness, flexibility and the ability to operate at certain pressures and temperatures fully satisfying the requirements of the food industry.

FEATURES: Extremely flexible, easy to handle and COMPOTEC® FOOD hose complies with international standards for all applications in direct contact with food. During all the production’s stages, the hose follows a high purity manufacturing process and no oils or lubricants are used, to avoid any possible contamination. It is possible to clean and sterilize it with steam or with various chemical products (diluted caustic soda and nitric acid) without any problem (CIP).
All the hoses are 100% resistant to aromatics and can be used both for suction & delivery. Vacuum rating is 0.9 bar, according to the EN ISO 7233 method B.

Universally used for the loading and oil transfers (palm, coconut, sunflower, olive and other edible oils, fruit juice, alcoholic products, etc.). It is also widely used for chocolate, jam, wine, liquor, isopropyl alcohol (ethyl and methyl).
